With over 25 years of experience as a Technology Program Manager & Delivery Executive, I specialize in solving complex problems with effective, efficient solutions. I want to bring that same forward-thinking approach to the Frederick County School Board.
My wife and I have proudly called Frederick County home for nearly 13 years. We've been married for more than 22 years and are raising two sons who have been part of the Frederick County Public School System. I want to ensure an even better experience for our younger son and every student in our community.
Strong schools don't just benefit students- they make sure our entire county is strong by increasing property values, attracting new families and businesses, and creating a shared sense of pride. Together, we can make Frederick County Schools a cornerstone of opportunity and progress.
I'd be honored to earn your support and serve the Shawnee District on the School Board- advocating for policies that put students first and empower those who teach and support them.

My Focus
Recruiting & Retaining high-quality teachers
By offering competitive salaries and fostering a growth mindset through continuous professional development. This also includes supporting non-classroom personnel, like counselors and administrators.
Providing alternatives to college
For students whose strengths and interests lie outside traditional academic paths, it’s essential that we provide meaningful support and elevate alternative pathways like Career & Technical Education (CTE) that align with their talents and goals. By recognizing the value of these options, we empower all students to thrive and contribute meaningfully to their futures and our communities.

Engaging with parents, students, and community members to create a collaborative environment that supports educational excellence—grounded in professionalism, compassion, and empathy—while promoting transparency in school operations and curriculum to foster trust, informed participation, and shared accountability.
Parental Rights
Parents are partners in education- not obstacles. I support curriculum review & informed of decisions impacting your child's health & wellbeing.
School Safety
Every child deserves a safe learning environment. I Support SROs in every school. Implement proactive security measures and address mental health & social media impacts on schools.
Fiscal Responsbility
As a member of the Citizen's Finance Advisory Committee, I've seen where we can improve. I will direct funds to the classrooms, not bureaucracy. Ensure competitive teacher pay and eliminate ineffective programs.
